the but to lovin gimp 2.4
man.. i just ran into a quite painful problem with gimp… well i got this cmyk images from a customer.. saw them the first time.. thought they where like they opened.. but only after a long time of working with them already i did notice they are actually meant to look different? what happened.. dunno well i kinna do.. it seems that gimp during opening them converted cmyk to rgb, which i can live with.. alright.. but man.. it changed colours.. not quite much enouth to notice right away.. but enough to give me extra work now to fix it up.. so i downloaded finally ps trial and converted my images there from cmyk to rgb before hand.. and that way also gimp does it right (well just open an already rgb pic)
anyway.. bottom line, be careful when opening cmyk images in gimp!
